Go Backend Engineer
Build high-concurrency services that survive the traffic of launch nights.
what you'll do
Responsibilities
- Design and build Go services for client products: rooms, chat, wallets and payments.
- Own WebSocket and gRPC APIs that handle tens of thousands of connections.
- Scale PostgreSQL, Redis and deployment pipelines for launch-night traffic.
- Run production: metrics, alerting, load testing and incident response.
- Peer-review architecture and mentor junior engineers.
what we need
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional Go experience with production systems.
- Strong grasp of concurrency, goroutines, channels and context.
- Comfort with PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker and Linux deployment.
- Experience with WebSockets or gRPC.
- Onsite at our Faridpur office or remote, with good overlap with Bangladesh time (UTC+6).
bonus points
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Kubernetes or Terraform.
- Shipped a live streaming or in-app gaming backend.
- Open-source contributions.
